Who can access bulk payments in Monzo

To make bulk payments via Monzo, you require a business account with a Team plan, starting at £25 per month.

How to send bulk payments with Monzo

1. Log into Monzo.
2. On your Home screen, select 'Make a payment,' then choose 'Bulk payment.'
3. Upload your CSV file. Monzo has templates available.
4. You'll need to verify your payment creation via the Monzo mobile app.

What you can't do with Monzo

Payment restrictions

• You can't send more than 200 payments: Each bulk payment can only contain up to 200 payments.

Account limits

• You can't send more than £50,000 per day: By default, limited businesses can send up to £50,000. For sole traders, this is £25,000. You can request to increase these.

Limitations when sending payments

• Payments can't exceed a user's daily limit: Monzo checks the daily limit of the user making the bulk payment, not the company limit. If a user tries to make a bulk payment above their limit, an admin must approve it. The payment will be processed once approval is given.
